GUIDED TOURS
Is registration mandatory?
Registration is mandatory. We are only open for tours that take place on predefined dates and time slots.
Can we just pass by? Can I just come to have a look?
Unfortunately, no. We are a small farm and have very limited space. To ensure a smooth and safe experience for our guests, we can't accommodate walk-in visitors without a reservation. Remember, we're a private family farm, not a public park.
Can we just walk on the farm and feed all the animals on our own?
No. For safety reasons, all of our tours are guided.
How can I reserve a visit?
Head over to our Farm Activities page and click on “Book” for the type of activity you would like to reserve.
How long does a tour last?
Usually, the tours last between 45 minutes to one hour.
Can we bring a dog to your farm?
Dogs and other animals are prohibited on our farm.
Can we use a stroller on the farm?
Preferably not. We recommend using a carrier (front or back) for your young children. As the ground is uneven on much of the farm, strollers are very hard to use and can get muddy, stuck or even damaged.
What time of year are you open/closed?
Our Winter Tours start around mid-December and last until mid-March. Summer Tours go from mid-May until mid-October.
There are no exact opening dates, as it depends on the weather and farmland conditions which vary from year to year.
Are tips included in the ticket price?
Tips are not included in the ticket price. Please keep in mind that our tour guides spend a lot of time behind the scenes preparing for tours. If you are pleased with the service, you are more than welcome to give a tip to our guides and/or mention them in a review.
Do you have a waitlist in case you’re fully booked?
Yes! In case we are fully booked, you will have the option to add yourself to the waitlist. In case of cancellation, everyone on the waitlist will be informed at once and reservation happens on a first come basis in that case.
Do you have picnic areas?
In the summertime, we have picnic tables available for use and a platform for rental. In the winter, we don’t have any seating options, unfortunately.
MOBILE FARMS
How far do you bring the animals?
Our mobile farms go to locations up to 40km away from the farm. Please check our map to see in which zone you would be.
Which animals do you bring?
Depending on your package, we can bring bunnies, chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, and alpacas.
I want to have my event at a public park. Do you go there?
We do, but it is your responsibility to check with your city about regulations first.
Can I request specific animals?
You can select from our existing packages. Once you’ve chosen your package, you can ask us to make modifications to it (e.g. no goat, or more bunnies)
How long does the activity last?
It depends on the length of your event. You can reserve our small animals for a duration of 1 to 2.5 hours and our large animals for a duration of 1 to 4 hours. The setup and takedown are not included in the duration of your reservation and take place approximately 20-30 minutes before/after the start/end time of your event.
CANCELLATION & BAD WEATHER
What is your cancellation policy?
Once booked, we don't offer a refund. In case of cancellation on your end, we may be able to reschedule your visit or offer you a gift voucher. In case of cancellation on our end, we offer to reschedule or a refund.
What happens in case of bad weather?
For tours, in case of bad weather, the activity will be cancelled by Project PACE. You will be notified 1-2 hours prior to your activity. You will have a choice to reschedule your event or receive a full refund.
For mobile farms, we will touch base the day before and offer several options: reschedule, move indoors, or cancel.
